Description
As part of the Bringing Back the Bunyip Bird: Australasian Bittern Summit, attendees were able to take part in field trips to nearby wetlands including the Ramsar listed Fivebough wetland and Campbells and Nericon Wetlands located near Griffith.
Australasian Bittern booms are regularly heard in the Spring and early Summer at all three wetlands with adult birds often recorded throughout the year. The video provides a little more information about the wetlands and celebrates the success of the Summit.
